​​​Fair Price - Car Driving License

A driving course includes the mandatory theory lessons, practice on private training grounds, on-road driving, and skid pad training. An interactive "theory book" is available for purchase at cost, which includes all the necessary information and unlimited access to practice theory tests, and more, on the internet.

Be cautious with "cheap" driving schools - you get what you pay for! Most driving schools offer a theory course with 29 lessons, but with me, the number is a minimum of 33.

The above standard "package" costs 14,999 DKK.

If the mandatory 16 driving lessons are not sufficient, additional lessons will be charged for the extra hours driven. Also, make sure to read more about the car driving license here.

It is also mandatory to complete a First Aid course, which is offered by the driving school. The price for this course is 550 DKK, payable to the instructor.

You will need to arrange and pay for a medical certificate yourself (approximately 400 DKK).

Also, remember

  • ​Payment of a fee of 1,000 DKK to the Police, which covers both the theory and driving tests. You will receive the link for payment in e-Boks.

  • Extra/ separate Driving Lesson: 600 DKK
  • Rental of Car for a Driving Test: 600 DKK

  • Tractor License - approximately 4,750 - 5,500 DKK depending on the number of lessons
  • Recovery (Retraining) as a fast complete Weekend Course: 4,500 DKK
  • Recovery (Retraining) Theory: 2,500 - 2,800 DKK depending on requirements
  • An administration fee of 465 DKK per student for various handling and possible logins
  • If lessons are cancelled less than 16 hours before the appointment, a fee of 300 DKK will be charged - except in case of illness
  • If you cancel after signing up/starting for theory class, a fee of 4,250 DKK will be charged
  • If you cancel after starting on the maneuvering course, a fee of 5,000 DKK will be charged
  • If you cancel after the first 2 driving lessons on the road, a minimum of 6,500 DKK will be charged, but the final price will be calculated to be as low as possible
  • If you cancel after 8 driving lessons on the road, a minimum of 12,000 DKK will be charged, but the final price will be calculated to be as low as possible
  • As of March 2022, a fuel surcharge of 500 DKK per student will be added.
